this fabric is actually much prettier then I remember and I think you will all do something lovely with it!
What a perfect fabric for us to use - there are so many beautiful colors - let us know your vision

Good luck everyone in selecting fabrics!
Bugaroo - feel free to include a piece of snowmen with your F8. There is always a possibility we can work it into our block

My fabrics are all washed and ready to be cut into fat 1/8's I am so excited for this swap. I am looking to do black/white and bright. So I will be sending out 3 different fabrics again. I know you can have a lot of fun with this color combination. Here are my fabrics:

I hope the pictures of my fabric are here. If you receive the second fabric I would prefer not to have a fussy cut of the large pink flower. Like Traveling Gramma I am going for the colors. Would prefer no black or white fabric and would love tone on tone or small prints that are bright and fun. Go wild. Bright pinks, greens, yellows, oranges and blues. Any of the bright colors in the fabric

Macy baby so sorry about your FIL, where are you headed in Florida? If you’d be close to Lakeland you can sure stay with us if you’d like. Save a little on those hotel bills, just let me know, you are certainly welcome.
All the fabrics look so tempting and fun, I’m going to sure miss swapping with all of you. It is looking as if I’m going to have to have surgery to repair damage from radiation. Appt. with surgeon on the 10th of March so I didn’t want to commit to this until I find out for sure what they are going to do and how long the recovery time will be.
I will check in and see all the lovely’s.....
Again Macy, the door is open if you need it.

Thank you for your packaging tutorial, TG!

QL, I'm not a pre-washer either in general but pre-washing is a requirement of the QB. There are lots of chemicals and aromas on unwashed fabrics that some are sensitive to hence the pre-washing. Also, everyone should avoid detergents and starches that will leave a strong residue for the same reason. Simple airing out after washing will help immensely.

The question of sending a large second fabric has come up. In recent swaps, we’ve been able to send a second fabric no larger than 6 1/2 inches square, as a companion piece to the main fabric. If anyone wants to do that, it’s fine with me. I really don’t care much for the idea myself as I feel it impinges on the block maker’s ability to make what she wants but I know some of you like it. Let’s just stick with the 6 1/2 inch size if you wish to add a second fabric.

Also, remember that block makers generally keep the remnants of the fabrics they receive after making a block. Please do use a generous amount of the f8 in your block however.

Please cut your fat eighth 18x10 to 18x11. Depending upon your fabric, prewashing, shrinking and removing selvages May not permit 4 11 inch cuts across the width of fabric so shoot for nothing smaller than 10 inches. Anything smaller and the piece starts feeling awfully small. Ideally, 11x18 is the goal but I’ll take pieces that are 10x18.

Those are some fun, bright fabrics, Terri! I'm glad you decided to do the swap.
