Juliasb, I’m sorry you must have surgery. Be sure to take you’re time healing and then if you have trouble getting the blocks done, let me know. No worries.

I know that this should not be to big of a deal but I have not had the best luck with abdominal surgery in the past because if my bleeding disorder and have the serious scar to prove that something minor can go very wrong. I should be able to stay right on schedule for the 3 month group. I just won't have them finished as quickly as I did last time.

Julia if you are sick from your gallbladder you will feel so much better immediately after surgery. But your body will need rest so try and take it easy and listen to your body.

Kass will miss you and your beautiful creations

Hi Marcialee! Welcome back.

Kass, we will miss you. Pop in and say hello, and let us see what you are working on.

Julia, hope all goes well with your surgery.

Janice, have fun with the grandbaby. I know you will!

I have my package all ready to mail, except need to get some cash to enclose. Then it will be winging its way!

Have a lovely weekend, everyone...

Janice.... so my post office guy was being really annoying and I had to take a couple of my little sandwich baggies out of their big bag to make him happy with how the flat rate envelope closed.

I really hope that is ok

Quiltinglawyer, I also have a very fussy post office. I started going to a different place because mine was such a pain. But living in the city we have lots of options.

Minnesota is one of the states that doesn’t have what is classified as “real” ID for our drivers license. So we need to bring a n envelope full of papers proving who we are and buy an enhanced driver’s license. Then we won’t need a passport to fly in the states and can cross into Canada and walk into Mexico with it. There has been a big media push to get this done since our state can’t seem to get it’s act taken care of and issue the correct kind of license. Today I sat at the DMV for 4.5 hours to get mine. All for nothing. Need my marriage certificate from my first marriage not a copy of my divorce. Because that is when I changed my name. To put it mildly I am not a happy camper. Did get real ID so At least I won’t need my passport to fly inside the US

Seems the DMV is becoming another IRS...

Quilting Lawyer, you need to send in 19 fat 8ths. Everyone sends 19 and receives 19. I think this was because the groups used to cut off at 20 so 19 (plus yourself) was the magic number.
I don't know what Janice will tell you.... Maybe she has a Plan B for you.
