AND here are my FINAL blocks! Finishing is always a little bittersweet, but with school starting next week and a pile of other sewing projects it is probably for the best!
Another president's block for Ibex (I got to do 3! I feel like I should get a US history credit for this!) and two for Bibliostone. I also sent a picture of all the blocks on my wall! I'll package them up and they will be ready to find their way to Janice - just like her furniture!

My heart is breaking. This past 8 days has been so overwhelming. Losing my BIL on the 3rd and my sister on the 9th is just hitting me now.
I have a block cut out and ready to assemble and all I can do is stare at it. All the decisions are being made by one of my other sisters and I just think of the pressure she is under and I have not way to relive her from anything. I am so proud of Lynnette to be the one to do everything. She is the specialist of all sister of all. She is the only full sister of my sister Danielle and guardian of her husband Tom. There is no way I can express my grief over this loss.
Pray for us.
I know this is totally off topic. I just don't know where I can share all this except with you fellow quilter. Thanks for letting me get this off my shoulders.

Julia, I'm so sorry your sister didn't make it, either. So much sadness! I pray God's comfort for you and your family. Bravo to Lynette for taking the reins and making the decisions. Big hugs to you and continuing prayer.
