I got to squeeze in one more before I finished packing for my retreat. Lstew2212 here you go.

Three days of quilting bliss with 20+ friends at a nearby church camp and conference center. I will leave tomorrow and get back Sunday with some projects done or progress made, fingers crossed. I'll check in now and again to see what is popping up on our thread.

Just struggled for a couple of hours on a %€£%#~! quilt block with mitered corners. What a mess! Couldn’t figure out what I was doing wrong until I ran across a good YouTube vid. Tada! It’s been so long since I mitered anything that I forgot how! Now I’ve got to do it on 3-1/2 inch blocks. Good grief. I’ll tackle it tomorrow.

I’ll update the gallery tomorrow as well.

Thanks for the great job you are doing with the gallery, Janice.

Great HP block, WMUTeach.

LC, love the kitty basket block! So sweet.

Love seeing the blocks as they pop up!

Good morning from chilly WNC. it hasn’t quite gotten to freezing but we’re close.

Anyone have any fun plans for the weekend? Looks like the grands will be coming over on Sunday. We’ll have dinner and play whatever they’re in the mood for. The rest of the weekend is open so I’m sure I’ll be working on piecing if some sort.

Reminder before you ship your packages, to make sure to include shipping charges if you didn’t prepay. If you’re unsure how much you sent with your F8s, drop me an email and I’ll check my records. Once again, I’m going to try to squeeze into one package the blocks from both groups if you doubled up. Doesn’t mean I will be able to but I’ll give it the old college try.

Happy Friday!

I'm looking forward to a quiet weekend at home, sewing. Our weather has been great here. Beautiful and Springlike. Next weekend, the 12-13th, there is a big quilt show in Slidell, LA. I'm trying to decide if I need to be there.
