Very pretty blocks, Janice!
I've got to figure out where I'm going to get block ideas. Normally I grab one of my reference books and pick out blocks that look interesting, but all my books are in boxes in storage in GA! There's a lot available online, and I draw them up in EQ8 to get the cutting measurements.
DH and I will be meeting with a realtor next week, and hopefully the house will be back on the market early March.

Wow! Beautiful fabrics and some great blocks getting started by our birthday girl. That Ripley is gorgeous! I'm glad you had family in to be with you, Janice.
I love your newfound sewing of clothing spell, MJP! I've wanted to make some Ms Fizzle (of Magic School Bus book fame) outfits to teach in with some of my novelty fabric. You are a great inspiration. And having family around you while ill is always great. I'm glad you're feeling better!
WMUTeach you sound busy as ever! I am glad you're busy with quilts and not those crazy students!
Terriamn thank you for sharing the quilts from the show. Lots of 2.5" square pattern quilt possibilities in there....
Travelinggramma -- I saw the queen sized quilt picture from your RV quilting experience. WOW! Lovely quilt made in such a tiny space! I know your grands loved hanging with you.
Sewbizgirl -- I am in and out of Brandon all the time. Perhaps I am here for a week solid this time. Hubby has Covid. If I don't catch it, perhaps we should meet at the antique mall next week and see what kind of quilting trouble we can get into? I did not win the auction for the sewing machine, btw. I did find an interesting Kenmore (newish) at an estate sale for $25. It has a wonky straight stitch. I need to play with it a bit more. Some of the other decorative stitches may be acceptable. I just need time to sew! Too much traveling going on as life adjusts to my new normal. My aunt is having surgery on Mar 5 and I will be staying with her for a week in case she needs help. It is a blessing that I am teaching remotely this semester and so can help. Come fall I will be teaching in person again and so will be spending less time in Brandon and more time in New Orleans. I've started setting up a sewing area in New Orleans already.
It is GREAT to visit with you all.

Love all the quilt show pix, Terriamn. I especially appreciate the postage stamp quilt. All those squares! So glad you are excited, SusieQ. So am I. It is good to sew after a while away. A friend of mine took a month long bicycle trip through Patagonia. She loved it and posted the most phenomenal photos! Glad you had a wonderful trip. Libster, love all your beautiful blocks from both sets! And no, no trouble with my phone.
Thank you for the birthday wishes! Spent a lovely day with my granddaughter and hubby.

Yesterday the phone/internet down - found it was across the country. Do belated happy birthday Janice. Glad to see you were in your happy space 😍
Terri- those quilts are awesome. Love the local shows as I can actually make some of them! And so many browns and candy ones. Thank you for sharing
traveling Does have a few drawbacks, but you can find new LQS and different materials too
all those blocks - at first my mind went “hey, how come I don’t have f8s to play with” then my brain figured it out. Janice you earn the right to play first!
