Well, for me it can’t come soon enough. Hubby is X’ing the days off the calendar. Wednesday at 9:am. I’m looking fwd to having a clearer mind and a body that’s at peace. I do believe God is answering many prayers through this surgery. If I understand correctly, Lafayette is the only place this stimulator has been approved and marketed since Feb ‘24 and is only being offered right now in Lafayette just 60 miles from me. And my neurosurgeon is the only one implanting them so far. People are coming from near and far to Lafayette to get relief and here it is right in my lap, so to speak. I’ve only been seeing this dr since January. My previous pain specialist retired last year. The amount of relief I got with the trial implant was very unexpected, 75-90% relief. Then they take it out and make you wait 3-4 weeks for the permanent one. God is good. I’m Trying to be patient.
Just a couple of minutes after I hit post I got my “reminder” from the surgery center that they are expecting me Wednesday @9am! We are a go, Houston! (That’s astronaut lingo)

Finished the quilt with the Boom 31 blocks, Hospice #2. Windy day so the quilt looks a bit out of square AKA wonky, but trust me it is 58.5 X 80. The request was for their quilts to be rectangular and long so it would fit the top of a single sized bed. Fingers crossed it work out.
It will go to a hospice center on Tuesday along with another I finished about a week ago. Can't remember If I posted a photo of #1 or not, but here are the two quilts that are out from under my needle.

Beautiful blocks for NZQ Terriamn. There is such a variation of colors in the pieces you received. I’ve never dyed my own but it might be time to try it this summer between Booms. Has anyone else tried it?
The swoon binding is on the front now I’ll hand bind the back post surgery. It’ll give me something quilty to do.
Off to a friend’s house for dinner. She’s nervous having a “dinner party” for the three of us. It’s sweet. She wants it perfect I think. It’s never perfect when she comes here. Something always happens but we have fun!

GramE, praying the permanent device works even better than 75-90% relief. Will be thinking of you on Wed. and praying everything goes perfectly.
Janice, is your knee replacement this coming week?
Lovely blocks for NZ, Terri. Can't wait to see her finished quilt with these.
WMUT, love your quilts! I see my blocks! Love the snow-capped mountains across the top. What a great touch that was.
Hope you enjoy your dinner party, Janice.

What a week this will be praying for GramE and Janice getting much awaited for surgery and movement.
HAv4 - love the block you made me - thanks you
Janice your quilt is amazing. I used many of my candy last year and certainly didn't have enough creams for the backgrounds - amazing
WMU - great finish and I see my block!
Today was a beautiful sunny day so we took a drive to Jerome. Love looking at all the locally made artwork and of course having a nice lunch out. After walking the hilly town I saw this sign in shop - and it certainly fits!

Managed to sew 2 blocks today, first is for Janice and the second is for me.
Technically I-have finished all the blocks but I am unhappy with one and need to re do it. I am so close to finishing
