Great blocks, Terriamn! I like the colors you used on MJP’s. Very pretty. Those whirling blocks confuse me too.

Janice another great block for Nelco, love the fireworks look

Two blocks for me MJ and TG. TG’s block is like a mind puzzle for me. My brain can’t see the angles of the pieces so I cut each piece and twist and turn them till they look like the picture. It’s always fun afterwards especially when I didn’t need to frog stitch. MJ your fabric was very fun to work with

Your block for Nelco looks so festive, Janice!
Terri, great blocks too. As I get older, all the blocks are “mind puzzles” for me, LOL.

Here’s the little side project I mentioned the other day, a baby quilt top. These hourglasses are time consuming! And talking about mind puzzles…. I used my seam ripper more on this simple project than anything else lately!

SBG, I had the privilege and I do mean privilege to see a queen size hour glass quilt today, each hour glass was 2" square. It was AMAZING! Mostly timbleberry colors with cream as the "background." As beautiful as it was, I think that I would have stopped at a baby size. Three cheers for you and your quilt it does look precious and so appropriate for a sweet baby.

Sewbiz love your hourglass quilt. Hour glass blocks are special to me, I ran a 6.5” hourglass swap for several years and enjoyed it throughly.

Janice 2” hourglass blocks! I can’t even imagine.

By chance does anyone have the Grace Quiltie Breeze frame?

Can’t sleep. That’s what a cup of coffee in the evening does to me. Bummer. So I’ll update the gallery instead of sleeping.

SBG, love your darling pink hourglass top. Cannot imagine making all of them.

Janice sorry you couldn’t sleep. Hate that. Thanks for updating the gallery. Enjoyed scrolling through it this morning.

My sister will be here for a short visit this afternoon. Can hardly wait to see her. She absolutely loves thrifting, always looking for sheets to go on the back of the mission quilts. So we will be busy

Hope you got some sleep, Janice.

Nelco, great blocks!

Thanks for the sweet comments on the baby (hourglass) quilt.

Terri, have a ball with your sister! I love thrifting too.

Terriamn - love the block - sorry it was mind bending - certainly understand. There are those patterns where I have to constantly match the picture to what I am trying to do.

SBG - love the hour glass - but 2" blocks. You are so brave. I can't even imagine sewing such tiny blocks.

I made Susie's rose block before going away and it went together so easily. I had started the second block and oh my. First try I reversed the sky and leaves. Second try i didn't like the colors I used. Third try was the win. Hope you like them

Oh dear, no.... mine are 4.5" blocks. I believe it was WMUT who saw one with 2" blocks. Must have been mind-bending to make!

Love your blocks for SusieQ. That yellow rose is amazing!

Two more today one for Nelco and the second for Janice McC. I finished another but, alas.....it is not even close to 12" square. Time to pick, pick, pick and likely redesign.
