Hello Ladies. All grownup blocks were put in the mail today!
(With the exception of gal288 whom I never received a F8 from. I know she lost her father. I wouldn't have done this either.)

SO glad to have that done.

mistiliz, I know you said to wait until after the deadline, but it got put with all the others, so it is on its way to you now.

Katy, I do not mind waiting if it helps you. Also, I sent to the old addy. Hope your block gets there ok.

hi y'all!! i am here in beautiful warm and wonderful dallas! believe it or not the heat feels good to me! granted i've only had 2 days of it, and most of my time is spent indoors with air conditioning. i'm silly, not crazy! i am spending as much time as possible with my gorgeous grand daughter! hard to believe she is less than 3 weeks old! i look down at her in my arms and see her daddy at the same age. it makes me cry and happy that i have this little blessing to my heart! they are watching me closely to be sure i don't grab her and run! i have waited 33 yrs for this! it was worth the wait! i will finish the few blocks i have left when i return home. sorry, i did not bring them with me! i am devoted to the cause, but my priorities are elsewhere. we have had tex-mex 3 out of 4 meals, and biscuits,sausage and red eye gravy! mmmmmm,mmm! can we say tubby ?!don't care! frozen margaritas last night with chips, salsa, guac and tortilla soup. i definitely have my accent back! hope y'all are having fun where you are! i could not be happier-- altho' i do miss my quilting! if anyone knows some good to great quilting shops in the dallas area i'm interested! thanks!!
