my chubby black cocker, monkey, tore hers when she was a pup. we put her on a diet and it seemed to heal. now that her weight is up she sleeps with her leg straight out but never limps and never complains. i hope your pup heals fully without the surgery.

It is a sad day here in River City (sad face here) as there was NO mail which means NO finished blocks returning home to me. On the upside there were no bills either. Well, It is back to the sewing machine until my Quilty Girlfriend and I go to one of my LQS to check out her half price sale!!!!!! YEAH FOR FABRIC SALES!!!!!

I don't think my postman ever saw me until I started this swap. Now, everyday, I wait in anticipation for my mail. Today, was sad, nothing. But that just means that Monday I will be overwhelmed. Is anyone else out there as obsessed with this as me? I go through the pages and look at all the blocks all the time. Maybe I need more of a life. But this lifestyle is suiting me just fine. :P

To keesha_ont or Ok Darla - What's the status of the postal strike? I would rather hold on to your grown up block for a while than have it stuck in some postal warehouse somewhere. Then when you two say the strike is over I'd mail the grown ups to you. Let us all know what we should do. Thanks.

Right now it is a rotating strike with different areas going on strike for 48 hours. I would hold on to the grown up blocks until this mess clears up because who knows where they'll end up. Thanks for your patience. By the way, I'm not sending out the blocks I've created until this strike is over.
