Should I buy another fabric? Or just drop out?

Dotty,
Please do not fret! I am sure people will be just fine using a piece that size. We don't want to loose you over a smidge of fabric.
Hugs
April

When I first signed up for this swap I ask how many f8's you could get out of a yard. I was told 6. I am in the small group so I need 15, I bought 3 yards of fabric to make sure I had enough, I just finished cutting and I have 1/2 yard left over, just what I had figured on, it took 2 1/2 yards to make 15 f8's. I have everything ready to mail can't wait!!

This is my first boomerang, but I'm sure not all of the f8 is used anyway, depending on the block made of course. I'm in a small group, it's not a problem for me, I'll work with what ever I'm sent. Do not drop out!! You'll miss all the fun.

After all the talk about shrinkage, I measured my fabric. There were 3 yards of 45" before. After washing and drying, there were 2 3/4 yds of 41 1/2" fabric. WOW! I had no idea there was so much shrinkage. I usually buy yardage without a specific project in mind, so get 3 yds or more. That saved my tail this time

Well, all cut and ready to package. I need to finish a quilt top this week, so I am not pushing. I will have things ready when we get the list.

April, I hope you get to feeling better. Broken toes are a nuisance! I hope the quilt seminar was fun!!!

Lists will be out by the end of next week if not sooner. I have not completely broken down the groups yet so still unsure if we have enough to close...will keep you all updated.
Hugs
April
oh no! hope you feel better soon! I'm with the others, can do a small group to make them even :) (That just means a larger quilt!)
