Dotty: Honest to Pete, I forgot that we all have her address! Yes, I will send her a card right away. Thanks for the idea!

Martin says she forgot how to get on here and was waiting to notify us. I had sent her an inquiry, so I got the message, and told April. Let's all send her a cheery homemade quilty card. I'm ok with 15 blocks.

BTW My quilt is beautiful thanks to all of you!! Picture soon! I want to add the sashing! Dotty

Let me know what y'all think please. I change the repeat block layout just a bit and I think I like it better than the one in my EQ7 drawing. I had ordered several 1/4 yd of Mirage blenders from Connecting Threads to audition the colors since you really can't tell for sure on the internet. I now need to order more the finish my repeat blocks. Here is a picture of what it will look out. My sashing fabric I purchased at my favorite LQS. It looks like some faded barn wood. I'm not quite sure about the color of the corners stones. I was thinking maybe a grey of some sort but don't have any that looks that great.

The last picture is the first fabric I got for sashing. I don't think it looks a good.

I, also, have been working on the 'boom 6' quilt today. I think this is it, the top is pieced and part of the back is. I put two of the squares on the back. I had to tone down Dot and crafty's squares, hope you do not mind! To use the term 'tone down' on this quilt is definately an oxymoron. At this moment, I am not sure if I love it or hate it. Its one of those moments. I LOVED every square, it is just the quilt is soooo busy and crazy. I think I will love it after I am not looking at it for 5 hours straight. Love seeing these come together. Against my better judgement, I signed up for boom 7....I have a feeling that I am going to do a pastel for this next one! LOL

Hi QuiltingKrazy, I prefer the grayish fabric. the brown is too flat for me. the layout and blocks are beautiful together. great job.
