You are forgetting to count yourself Judy. There are 36 in a group. We need 2 more.

That just makes everything more interesting. the background looks like burgundy. It is cute fabric. Have you thought about a fabric with guitars or something to that effect?? Oh and If i get your big masks, I have the perfect fabrics to go w/ it. Excited!!!

April, if we do get an overflow of signups, but not enough for a group, I too would be willing to do a swap with a smaller group, as Difergie wrote. I am kind of afraid to commit to another 36 blocks, having buyers remorse with my fabric but would be willing to do a few more.

Just sent in my info! Now to pick out some fabric. I think I have an idea of what to use so I will take a pic of it tomorrow and post it. I am in the Funky Cat block swap and I'm having a ball so I thought I'd give this a try.

April, I'm just wondering how do you only get 6 F8's from a yard of fabric? If cut right, one should be able to get four FQ's from a yard and a F8 is just half of that so it should net eight F8's per yard. I was thinking of trying this swap out so I too was calculating how much yardage I would need. I came up with no where near 6 yards. I calculated about 4.5 yards.

Do you think you may form a smaller group from this round with the numbers of sign ups? I would be interested in trying a smaller group to start off. I will keep checking the thread.

What date is the cut off sign up for the swap? I didn't see that listed.

You are not cutting a true F8. We are sending 11x18. That is why it takes more fabric.
