How old is Izzy? Is there a way you could note which fabrics are hers so that they don't get put with something "old-ladyish" instead of something a little more youthful? This is a wonderful way to get her involved. This is when I miss my young girls and regret that my granddaughters are so far away.

Izzy will be 4 in February :-) I am going to put notes in each of the fabric's so everyone will know what is for what :-)She is so excited. I explained to her that mommy is going to send the fabric to her quilting friends and they will make her a block and when they send the block home her and I will sew them up in to a quilt for her. She said-Like my very own blanket?" I could not resist the smile!
She loves to help daddy in his woodshop so I think this will make her very well rounded.

So glad to hear that your daughter is swapping April......what a great idea.

I have thrown out all my boomerangs!!! Can't wait receive my first F8's......my machine is idling quietly in the corner waiting to get started LOL.

Thought I better get mine out as early as I could cause I never know how long it will take to get to its destination....Just received a pattern yesterday from Minnesota and it took 3 weeks to get to me.....hopefully that is only because of the holidays!! Also a little jealous of being able to mail out the packets for .44c.....cost $1.18 to send 32g from Canada to the US.....and the rates are going up on Jan 11 :(......crazy!! But still so much fun!!

Thanks Barb! She loves to sit by my side when I sew or rearrange my fabric and is just getting in to actual sewing with me :-) Makes me proud!
My boomerangs will be in the mail tomorrow.
Barb-does there have to be a customs form on a letter size envelope to Canada?
It really is fun. Stinks about the postage rates for sure...now if we could just figure out a way to email fabric....hmmmmmm.....

I was told today, by the Post Office, that for two fabrics it will be 81 cents if it isn't thicker than 1/4 in. Then you can use a regular size envelope if not you must put it in a larger envelope and it is 1.05- much better than the Postage Store. And to Canada $1.29 in a 6x9 with custom forms. Just a little info for us who are sending more than one piece of fabric.

Ok for us computer dummies how would I do this?
Does this print on envelops or those sticky labels?
