I love Kaffe Fassett. While the pieces I am sending have been ironed, these leftovers obviously haven't now that I look at the pic! I had enough for generous fat 8s for 12 of my blocks. The other three have orange, olive or spring green solids (one each) along with a "leftover" of the scales fabric that is of reasonable size (maybe 7"x12" or so) for color guidance or use in small parts of the block. Olive is the dark outline color, altho that doesn't show clearly in the pic.

It helped that I had a plan on those and had them figured out to do them in one day. So I got the Steelers quilt on the longarm and was quilting away and the bobbin zingged and there went my tension. I had to spend four hours ripping out a row of quilting. Big Fat Bummer. I am hoping, since we are staying home this weekend being safe and sound, that I get a lot of quilting done. One day for my six that are there waiting, then three customer quilts that are meant to be show. Whew, tired thinking of it becuase I don't have air in the garage and we are expected to be in the 90s all week. My neighbor calls it the sweat shop, yep it is.

I parused my fabric again, still undecided about my second group. Oh what to make a quilt for.

Okay everyone I am working on finalizing groups. It has been either pouring rain, disgustingly hot and humid or both here so I have to take it slow as none of these conditions play nicely with my shunt. I have off tomorrow so I am thinking I will sit in the comforts of my AC and get everything pulled together and out then. Thank you for your patience with me and I cannot wait to see what you all do this round. Love the fabrics I am seeing posted!
    Hugs

Oh yes please. It reminds me of Hawaii.
I hope I get to work with this one.

Happy 4th of July Everyone! I hope your bbqs and family gatherings and even quiet times are just what you wish for. I have clinic this morning then I think maybe sewing which is exactly what I wish for! Love your fabric quiltermomma. I just bought some from another quilter here on the board. She was selling a ton and well I NEEDED IT! (uh huh).
