Hi, Mary O. A lot of the previous participants have albums here on the Board which shows their blocks made and received. The link at the bottom of my post will lead you to my albums. I've done Booms 10-14. If you'll click links at the end of the posts, they'll take you to the pictures. Come on, join us. We have fun doing our Booms! (We are a chatty group though.)

Good morning, Mona G. The size of the group will depend upon how many sign up. Usually we have around 16 but the groups could swell to 18 or 20 if sign-ups are good. A group will NEVER be larger than 20 as it would make it difficult for some to complete blocks. Just an FYI, Should the group go to 16, you would be required to make 15 blocks. One for every other person in the group. Of course, you may decide to make one for yourself too.

Hope that helps! We'd love to have some new people in the group. A mix of veteran boomers and newbies is good for all. Send an email if you'd like to join! Thanks for considering Boom 16.

Mary, I've got some online galleries for you to look at. Let me make sure they are turned on and you can take a look at what others have done. Hope you'll like like what you see and consider joining!

Here are all the blocks done for the last boom, Boomerang 15. It consisted of two groups, a 2 month group, "Beignet" and a 3 month group, "Rosebud". Take a look: http://boomerangswaps.weebly.com/

Just back from foot doc, at least 3 more lovely weeks in this boot and he gave me even more restrictions. I talked to him about sewing and explained the process. He said if I can comfortably navigate stairs to basement sewing room I can sew for a few hours at a time, take a break and go back to it. Just no standing to iron or cut fabric. I think that is totally doable. Will ask Dh to arrange a makeshift cutting area by sewing machine and set up my TV tray ironing station.

I got my fabric washed, dried, pressed, cut and bagged today. Janice, I'll send you a picture of my fabric as soon as I can get some sun to take a decent picture.

This could be good to get a quilt done for my nephew out of Marvel Fabric. Let me ponder a couple of days and check my calendar.
