We aLso have another newbie to our Boom but not to swaps in general. Her name is Katsdar and I'm just waiting for clarification on which group she'd prefer. Her email was stuck in my inbox since Wednesday so she has a reserved spot in either or both groups. Sign-ups are coming along very nicely

And kassaundra is is also back in for both groups. Yeah!

I just sent my email I'm in for both groups.

I think I've chosen my fabrics, as of now these are them. I know they look a little matchy matchy waverly traditional, which face it I am not. (maybe why they are still in the stash). I really don't have a project in mind, some will get the floral others the stripes. Use any color in the floral (light / dark golden yellow, light / dark salmon, light / dark sage green) solids or prints, any combo or pattern that makes your heart sing. Those that get the striped fabric I will include a bit of the floral for color reference.
Great idea to add a snipped of the floral to the ones that get the striped fabric. It will be very helpful. I really like these colors, especially the yellow.

Jane will let Janice answer but be aware with the 9" width it does limit the block that you can make. I have received that size and thought of a block that I would have liked to make with the fabric but it wouldn't work with only 9". I don't care either way...just a thought

Hmmmm...been mulling this all day. It's been my "rule" to have only Fat Eighths since the first round I ran because several people felt very strongly about the inability to make some of their preferred blocks with the regular eighth. However, if the fabrics you really want to use are eighths, I'm inclined to loosen this rule and see how it goes. Let's say that FOR THIS ROUND ONLY, although the preferred size is 11X18, we allow eighths 9x22 as well. What is good for the goose, is good for the gander, so everyone may use eighths THIS ROUND ONLY. Afterwards, I'll take your comments on this temporary change and see what you all think. To those who like to receive FAT eighths best, please work with what you receive and let me know what you think afterwards.

Yes this is what I also found. I was very limited in what blocks I could make so be aware of that. I myself will send fat 8s ( 18x11 or bigger) because of that.
