Calla, jump in and get your feet wet here. Perfection is not the goal.

Do we have a deadline mailing date? Was it posted and I missed it? Also, do we open as we get them or wait for an opening date? I'm so confused!

i love quilting but have never been able to stand using a thimble. Therefore my fingers have callouses. i am also diabetic so am used to pricking my fingers. with that said, why is it when i hand sew anything, i tend to sew myself to whatever project i am working on? And i dont feel it til i pull my thread taut. but then that was just the 6th time today. but the ornament is getting done.

I can't seem to stop trying to make something new. I have started about 6 different ornaments and don't feel satisfied with any of them! I hope my partner likes what I finally decide on!

I like the ornament swap, but I was hesitating cause I wasn't sure if I would be able to get is done. But it is a fun swap, and I should be able to get one made.
And GraceAnn and calla I appreciate your intimidation- I almost feel that way too. But I know from experience that the swaps here on the Board everyone is accepting of each other where they are, so relax make your ornament it will be wonderful.
I decided to jump in and will send my info now as I will be unavailable over the weekend.

Thought I would post some pictures of the Christmas Ornaments I made for my Craft Stall at the end of August.
Some of these ornaments are Machine embroidered ITH designs and some have been machine stitched and hand finished.

Betty J, your ornaments are lovely! I have been making the same ornaments that you have displayed in your first picture, they are so much fun to make!
