Ever try the home made clay ornaments with your little guy? I think I remember them being made with cornstarch? Everyone loved making these when my kids were little. We even used to make them up from cookie cutter impressions and baking them to dry and just having tons around to paint up.

RedGarnet22 - My kids and I used salt dough to make ornaments. We also made our own wrapping paper using potato prints on plain brown paper, gotten as excess from the local paper mill or used brown paper grocery bags. More than once my brother used the Sunday comics for wrapping paper. Such good memories!

Yes for me too All2Pieces. It was pretty amazing how many adults that would sit down and play when they dropped in for the holidays if you just had them sitting where they could work on them. Really fun and they could take them home as a little extra surprise. I had a friend who would take the torn up wrapping after christmas and decoupage them onto gift box tops for the next year. Kind of crazy patch style. Such a nice extra life for those expensive papers.
Many years ago, my girlfriend once gave me a birthday gift package wrapped with hunk men pictures from a magazine she cut up. I about fainted in the middle of that restaurant! Boy was my face red! I will see her tomorrow. She owns a doggy fashion craft booth she sews for and I will go help her out. Boy I guess I have known her some thirty plus years.

Oh my gosh!! Time is flying!
I am away from home right now and almost panicked because I don't have things ready to mail when I do get back. Please keep posting the daily ideas, they are wonderful.
Cheers everyone,
MJ
