Thanks to everyone who commented on my Bow Tucks photo. I enjoy making them for people a lot. It won't be my last. And, yes, I love seeing different peoples' fabric choices, also. Each one makes the purse look entirely unique!!!

Happy Birthday SharonAnne!

I have to say something, I guess I let it go on to long. No one knows why a package wasn't sent. I am getting pms about all the negative posts here. They have to stop now. If there is a problem, pm me. This is suppose to be fun! Angels have been dispatched to where they are needed and things are being taken care of. Like my mom used to say, if you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything. Everyone who signs up will receive a package. I don't want any more people dropping out because of all the negativity.

What a wonderful lot of birthday wishes!!! Thank you all sewww very much. Quilters are lovely people. I did not get my squishy today, but received lots of love, and hugs, and cards which mean way more to me than any material things ever could. Of course tangibles come in handy, too. lol. My DH DID buy me a car last month as an early b-day present. And today he made me my favorite carrot cake from scratch, plus he gave me the loveliest wrapped package AND a large gift certificate to Beverly Fabrics. He always knows just the right things to give me. Oh, and a dinner out tonight, too. My kids both called, as did my mom, and my brother (we are all over the US map). Work was slow and easy. The weather was cool. What more could I want? Thanks again for thinking of me. PS - didn't DH do a lovely job of wrapping my new GPS?

In agreement with you Lori. I guess part of the problem is that some of us are so eager that they get their parcels off the day you announce the swap partners nad the recipients recieve their parcel within a few days.

For those of us that are not so quick off the mark or are international senders, the wait for our partners is much longer and, I suppose, becomes interminable when everyone else is bounding around with glee. Patience is a virtue and as you pointed out it does not go unrewarded.

Thank you Lori for all the hard work you do on our behalf.

PS Despite the time on this post, it is 9 am here and the sun is shining brightly - a lovely day to dry the washing which is done and on the line.

I for one agree with Lori. This is supposed to be fun! and we're all having a ball. Thank you Lori for taking over this huge task and I mean huge. Ladies and gents we all have situations that may come our way for some reason or another and we need to be patient. LET'S ALL HAVE FUN!

A HUGE thank you to my SP Dar Aka Little One for the amazing pressie I received last week!! I apologize for the late thank you as I have been taking care of my little one year old who has been teething hard and has a bad old cold and has been sooking me every chance he gets.

I absolutely love every single thing you sent me!!! The wine gums didn't stand a chance!!! They were gone within hours!!! I love the embroidery threads!! the colours are beautiful! The stabilizer will DEFINETELY come in handy especially with all the embroidered bloomers and baby boy boxers and onsesies I am doing and selling!!! I have been using those cute little scissors since the day I received them! I needed a new pair of small scissors and they are PERFECT!!!! The flannel fabric is adorable and I plan to make something cute out of it for my little boy. The dress towel is very cute and I will have that in good use in my kitchen. I can't WAIT to try those recipes you sent me especially the blueberry dessert!! I picked up some blueberries the other day at the grocery store! I found a new use for emery boards! I learned a great technique using them with my scrapbooking projects!! Not just for nails anymore LOL!!! I am a sucker for post it notes and love that little block of them with the birds! The pattern is fabulous and I have some really nice bright coloured fabrics I can make this from for a gift for a friend this Christmas!

Again thank you soooooooooooooo much!!!!!!!

My loot!!! I felt soo spoiled!

Lori I agree with you...I am patient and it IS a virtue...I join the swap because I love to gift to others. For it is better to give than to recieve. But is our reward to recieve. And we should know by now that this Board has
Angels, so no one is left out.
To me this is a tremendous undertaking and you and suzanne should be commended for tackling this.
