Klue is right - the book has NO DIRECTIONS WHATSOEVER in "how-to" assemble the blocks.

Some of the drawings seem to be accurate depictions of the blocks.
the blocks that brenda took license with in the book have been made accurate to jane in the software.

those blocks have 2 variations brenda's and jane's in the software plus there are other variations that have become popular amongst the janiac's over the years.
I was wondering if those changes might have been made. Are there better pictures of the original quilt included with the software than there is in the book?

yes, the picture of the quilt is much better in the software plus you are able to zoom in really close on the blocks.

i wish you lived nearby we could play with the software together.

Even though I'm having great fun with the paper folding to attempt to replicate some of the blocks, the software IS tempting!

The software is designed for PC's - not Macs, though. Dang.

Klue I'm just now reading about the blue blocks. Hope you don't wear yourself out before the Jan party starts. Have been working on the "%&?" triangles. I have 2 1/2 to go. I'm getting them done as soon as I can because of a project I want to squeeze in before the party begins. I wasted alot of material but I can say I now know what to look for. I have made notes beside my pattern so when this block comes up in the party I'll have them. The thing that has helped the most in the construction of these is printing the outline of the triangle, print the pieces and then glue the picecs where they go, like a jig saw puzzle. This block reversed the fabric in differenct sections so I colored the sections that were gold. (Color I'm using) so they were easier to spot.
