December 2016 Postcard Swap
#44
Hi All! I popped in a few times since getting our special partners, and I didn't see anything then. I just figured so many busy with preparing for the holidays. I have been doing that too plus me and hubby sick etc.
Now hang on, because tonight I am working on the baking and having fun. K-Roll I will let you know when I send yours out dear partner.
We haven't had any snow yet, but have had some good rain lately, and cold weather here and yonder. We are suppose to get colder.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!

I have had an incredible journey in the Postcard Swap. Here are ALL the cards I've received in the last 2 years. Sometimes, I had more then 1 partner. And, several are from side swaps that I've done. All bring a smile to my face. I look forward to seeing what themes Cookie comes up with. I look forward to continuing to pushing myself artistically.
Someone asked for ideas on displaying your cards. Since my sewing room is in our sunroom, I can't put any holes in the walls. One wall is actually the back side of our house. And, the other 3 walls are completely windowed. So, I actually use a tension rod in the window of the back side of my house. I use the Drapery Pinch clips to hang them. I actually need to buy some more clips. I wish I could use the system from IKEA instead. Where you install the ends and use the clips on a wire. But, it is a mute point. So, what I have does work. I also keep them in a pretty box when I change out the art on my window wall.

Judith I had not commented on your arrangement of your cards after you had first shown us here. I think it's a great
way to display them. I was on Pinterest one day, and they were showing so many great ideas for using tension rods which in the near future I hope to do. Thank you for showing us. I recognize one little one there. I have mine too from you and so many great friends.
