I have another quick little improve piece that I made for my mom. It's made from just little pieces of odds and ends. I kept it simple because that is what my mom would like. She loves to decorate in Red and White for Christmas. So, that's what I kept with. And, I know she won't put up a Christmas Tree this year, So, here is a small one for her to enjoy.

I kept the edges in the same color as the background so the tree would really stand out.
It's a very pretty tree, and your mom will love it.

Originally, I intended to put Cardinal buttons on it. But, when I went back to get them, you guessed it, sold out. Then, I figured I'd overlay it with a red swirl organza. Nope, it looked terrible. The gold overlay works as long as I cut out around the tree. Otherwise, the work is lost.

So, again, how does this postcard "read" to you. I guess I'm moving on. I need a few more Christmas postcards to be made and mailed.

This is so pretty, and I love everything about it.

That is a very beautiful card.

WOW! i am way behind! susan, so sorry about your ds. i remember when my sister had them and how uncomfortable she was. sending healing thoughts and prayers her way, and yours. hugs, too. i hope to do the fpc tomorrow, but i have 5 stockings to finish and get to texas before santa! then a 3D mugrug and a lapquilt. all are 'WIP's. busy and lazy at the same time. and like a nut, i started a 10 book mystery series. just love those, but so hard to put down!
judy, i forgot to mention, always glad to make a new friend from another country, or re-visit an old friend. so international is just fine, which means i'm also willing to send to texas, lol.

Nancia, that is perfectly fine girl. Being concerned with my sister and father has put me in a flare again with my lupus. It doesn't take much. Last night I got yours completely finished, and my dear husband is going to mail it off to you today. I think I really improved this time on my edging that I sewed around. I tried a bit different way this time, and it seemed to work for me.

I use to be that way with a book I like. It didn't take me long to go through it when I couldn't put it down.
These days, well let's just say I am doing good to focus on anything.

Owlvamp They will make sure that one of the Soldiers in the Hospital receive the cards that we send. They will take them around to the rooms and pass them out to the Soldiers.
