I'm one of the over the toppers at Halloween - it's my very favorite kids holiday. Two weeks ago I started buying candy for the treat bags - should have seen the grocery store clerks face when I started to unload my cart - I had 200 bags of Skittles and 20 packages of Starburst. Need to get chocolates and some sort of sucker yet for the treat bags.

I have some spooktacular ideas for my doll quilt this month.

well my dq needs binding and it will be ready to fly off to its new owner. unless i keep it and make another one, its a real beauty. hmmm... we dont do halloween here except the kids like to dress up, they go to a few houses to trick or treat and then basically run around in their costumes.

I'm coming to YOUR house to treat or trick!! I miss all that, we live on a dead end gravel road in the woods.... so no trick or treating at my door. I did try to get my daughter to dress as the headless horseman one year and ride thru the neighborhood on her horse..... she wouldn't do it!

ok Partner READY.. hello its really late where you are! ok fine its not really late but it could be. it will be. Halloween did I get Halloween or did I get falling for you? which one which one.. cant start sewing. oh yes this is my two day weekend to really sew so not waiting at all and not pressuring you (take those fingers off your neck you say?) at all... just got rid of a royal headache so I will just watch cooking goodies on food tv. sucks to be me. too bad they are not cooking for me!

BUSLADY! how could you? she is GREAT!!! oh dear now what to make for her .. guess it is a good idea I have PM ability so I can ask her myself! thanks so much and see impatience pays lol.. sorry it really doesn't do much good but thank you so much for gifting names now so I can whip up something lovely for my partner while I have time off I do appreciate it. On dialysis days my quilting is not happening (nap time!) and on the other inbetween days I am only semi on but oh give me these two days and I am a busy little beaver! oh beavers/Halloween.. I have Wallie my wall beaver as inspiration.. no no probably not very halloweenish unless you look closely at his little feet.. (ugh).

    Thank you QuiltingKrazy!

I sent Omacookie a PM and gave her my address.

Was making plans to start the dq this weekend while I
am up at the cabin, but I forgot my GOOD iron at home
and the junky iron that is here at the cabin I wouldn't
trust to use if it was the last iron on earth.

However I did find the perfect fabrics at the quilt shop
up here in Grand Lake, CO. They will go with the fabrics
I already chose to use for the dq.
