My blocks are done and will be mailed tomorrow!

I wanted to do more of a fall country/homestyle theme.... I hope everyone likes them.

Wow!!! will put you on for the fall one, I haven't contacted Patrice about the winter one yet. I will probably open that later on and since there is the option of doing both types, will give a long time to complete the sets.

how much fabric do you need for the background & petals for 12 blocks?

i used FQs to make my petals and it took 2 FQs to make 4 petal sets.

then you need about 1.5 yards for the background fabric along with some scraps to make the circle in the middle and the 4 leaves.

Well, I cut my background squares 13 inches instead of the 12.5, applique the 'plates/petals' then trim to 12.5 square. I can only get 3 squares out of width of fabric (save the left over for other projects)or you could use that for the centers....need 4 rows of 3 squares at 13 inches...(need 52 inches....one yard is 36 inches..so I figure 1-1/2 yards just to be safe. For the petals, I used FQ's, 4 was plenty the way I cut them...16 petals per block, 4 different colors.
