I personally love what you've picked out ..... it doesn't fight with your center blocks, it really compliments all of them. Besides that I am really falling in love with the quilt, that you're going to hate!

It looks perfect to me. If it's as it looks in the picture it has several of the colors you've used in the blocks and it blends with it beautifully.

The colors do match perfectly, I was just not sure if it was too light. That is why I asked for opinions.

I don't think it's too light. In fact, I think it brings out the warmth of the quilt. I really like it.

When I took it into MFQS (My Favorite Quilt Shop) that is actually the name of my local quilt shop today, Lauren, the owner thanked me over and over for the wonderful quilt I was making HER! I explained that there were other already in line ahead of her. She suggested that you all share it, 3 months here, 3 months there, etc.

Thought maybe I'd share my latest adventure in using-up Upholstery Samples. The new cars these days do not have the knobs they used to have for the radio .... everything is "push-button" .... so no-where to hang a "Litter Bag" anymore. We have a new car and I went to work designing a Litter Bag for it .... and Seat Belt Covers to match. The Litter Bag has a "pinch drapery ring" on it ..... and clips to one of the Air/Heat vents on the front dashboard in our new car. Here's a couple of pictures of that project, to share with you.
