ELISABRAT's WINTER FROLIC TABLERUNNER/TABLE MAT SWAP!! SIGN UPS CLOSE OCT 10th

    Elisabrat's WINTER FROLIC Tablerunner/Mat Swap!

    Elisabrat's Table Mat/Runner Swap

This Swap will close October 10th
Welcome to my swap! This is a Table Mat or Table Runner swap.

A Table Mat would be any shape that would be a centerpiece; this should be a minimum size of 16" across the longest point. For instance, a hexagon table mat that is 16" from one corner to another at its widest point and each of its six sides are 8".
A Table Runner should be a minimum size of 12"x28". Table runners are typically longer than they are wide. Please do not request an excessively long runner from your partner.

    How it works:
This swap will be a partnered swap. You will work with your partner to determine colors and sizes that will work with them. THE THEME IS: WINTER FROLIC!

Design and method will be up to the creator but since this is something that will be on a table and likely spilled on, make sure whatever you make is washable on at least a gentle cycle. Good grade cottons only no homespuns or non cotton fabrics in this swap please. You should make something you would put on your own table at home. Take your time, there is no rush to get it out fast. Its better slow but steady and you will be pleased with what you send and your partner will be thrilled to receive it!

Please PM ELISABRAT with the following information by OCT 10th. She will then match up names and get them returned to you by October 11th. You will have until NOVEMBER 20th to mail the finished product. THIS IS A DEADLINE NOT A GUIDELINE Please do not participate if you believe you can not fulfill this time frame commitment. Please do not ask if you have not finished your commitments in prior tablerunner swaps run by Elisabrat.
    Board Name:
    Real Name:
Phone #: (this will NOT be given to your partner, this is for my use only in the event that a problem should arise)
    Do you have any allergies:
Do you have any allergens (cats, dogs, smoker):
    Can you ship international:
Do you have the ability to post pictures:

It is encouraged and acceptable to post pictures of fabric choices, progress. I would love some lively conversation so lets keep this a fun forum to chat, bounce ideas off each other, assist each other as needed. There will never be a dumb question so ask if you need help. And above all else.. HAVE FUN! Encourage each other! ONE REQUIREMENT: you must post at least once a week so your partner and I know your alive and still in the game. I will be watching for your posts. Just say hi if you don't want to chat with us but get on the board and post something here please.

Please notify Elisabrat as soon as possible if you feel you cannot complete your obligation. Please don’t sign up if you don’t think you can achieve a finished product in the time allotted.

People who fail to follow-through and do not notify Elisabrat will be banned from any of my future swaps (should there be any) and your name may be given to other swap hosts. Obviously, things happen in life and I will certainly consider that, but you must communicate. I reach out fairly regularly to check on progress so there is no excuse for not telling us if there might be a delay.

So jump on board everyone and join the fun!

    Now for the legalese.

****Please make sure to read the general rules that apply to all swaps here at the Quilting Board: ****

I am required to insist that participants send Elisabrat a monthly PM to verify that they are still active in this swap and are working on their promised project.

I am required to insist that participants notify Elisabrat as soon as they have finished their quilt and are ready to mail it.

Once I have received notice that both partners are done and ready to mail, I will send both a PM to let them know it’s time to mail.

I am required to insist that all participants send Elisabrat verification of shipment, to include tracking information.

Participants are required to ensure packages will not arrive “postage due.”

Any and all other fees, such as import duties, taxes, etc imposed by the recipient’s government are the sole responsibility of the recipient.

Absent legitimate and reported mitigating circumstances, participants who have not fulfilled their obligation to ship by NOV. 20th shall be deemed “late” and risk receiving Negative [Swap] Feedback.

Please keep in touch with Elisabrat as required. Please let her know right away if something happens that will interfere with your ability to complete your project on time.

Swappers should treat each other as friends and focus on the fun. So … please be prepared to be flexible, patient and understanding if necessary and appropriate.

Please join me in this fun winter themed tablerunner/mat swap. You and your partner can chose the type of winter tablerunner/mat you would like be it Snow! or Christmas! or Hannukah! or Kwanzaa! as long as its winter oriented the interpretations will be up to you two. So have fun, get creative and think outside your normal box.. this can be a fun item that could be used on your tables as mats or runners or even on the wall as a little wall hanging .. one can never have enough beautiful color to celebrate the seasons. So join in with us and have a bunch of fun chatting with the goofy crew here. You can even gift your runner so see, multiple grandness! you get to play, create and end up with something you can use or gift for the holidays! Can't wait to have you in our swap!

I seriously debated about whether signing up again as I am so behind on my quilting - but this is so fun that I just can't resist from signing up again! I'm PMing Brat now.

thank you for all those rapid sign ups! yahoo! yippee! thanks again.

I forgot to mention please let me know what you want to send/receive so I can TRY to pair you up with someone who wants to make that holiday/seasonal item for you. If you are like dustysmomma who wants a valentine let me know. I personally can make one of those but maybe someon else would love to make that. Let me reassure you there will be a valentine swap after this one but for now if you need it for a gift say so. we surely will find someone who is willing to do special requests

So, when your finished reading all the above surely you want to send a PM to sign up right? you know you want to.. so just do it! jump in! the chat is lively and fun and if you are curious about what people have made in the past please go to my fall swap and check out the huge variety of runners, the silly chatter (ok some is serious but not much lol).. and well you will be hooked trust me. its that good

Dusty'sMomma you're safe, I'd send you Valentine's and you can send them to me too, or a New Year's tablerunner would be okay too.

Just sent a pm. I loved the fall runner swap. So a winter one would be great! I would be willing to make one for whatever holiday you want! And I would only need a runner 12x 24 as I have a smaller table.

Sure wish I thought I would have time to make something for this swap! But just don't think I'd be happy with myself taking on another obligation, no matter how much fun it would be.

Will have to see how I'm doing on the home decor swap as we approach the deadline for sign up. This is one of my really busy times of the year and I never know if I'll even get into my sewing room from one day to the next. Either way I will pop in for a visit now and again. This is such a fun group!

Ooh, new years. Hmm.....I don't know what I'd do for that. I'd have to think on it. That sounds like a embroidery job. I have lots of pretty things for Valentine's day in my embroidery library. I would LOVE to do a Valentines runner for you!!! (Now to bribe the host!)

Valentine's is good for me. Don't know if you'll get embroidery, I've got all the stuff and enough thread to choke a horse, but just can't get into it for some reason. I'd rather sew I guess and the fact that my machine is small with only a 4" hoop, so most motifs are small.
