For those of us who like to cook, how about a kitchen themed swap? Imagine: pieced teapots and cups, pies, broken dishes blocks, appliqued pots and pans, cute sayings... I think I like that idea too much!

Or a pet themed swap? I'm sure we all have pets we have and love or wish we had

Those are great ideas ladies. I will probably run a vote in a few weeks. We have time. Keep the ideas coming. Either way, I would have to get permission to host again. But, that will be much later. I just didn't want to wait till the last minute. I am keeping track of the suggestions.

Hello ladies,

Here is a photo of my fabric pull. I don't know what I will use yet, but.... this is pretty much what I have for Fall.

Now, I need to pick out the blocks I want to make. So, I will be researching this the next few days.

Well I love the fabrics you have to work with judith. The colors and subject on them are great!

I have two blocks to finish the stitching on and I will be done with my blocks. I lost one in the confusion of sewing my finger, but I found it put away with the other fabrics in the cupboard. LOL... What a blonde, huh?

Nice fabrics Judith.

I think I have decided on my blocks and my fabrics are washed - now I just need some time to start sewing.

Done! Whew .... I just have to label the blocks and figure out a hostess gift. I should be able to mail this week, judith.

Oh my goodness Red, you are the quick one. I have been working on my summertime blocks right now. But, soon, I will be switching gear and turning my thoughts to this swap.

I have been working on my Summertime Blocks and a Block-of-the-month. Both are in a great place right now.

I can't wait to see your blocks in person. And thank you for thinking of me so kindly.

I was downtown all day yesterday at the court house. They were setting up a jury for a trial and I thought I might just have to be on it. I am glad I didn't get picked, it was a serious case and it would have lasted three weeks. I would have done it, but, they didn't pick me.

I am cleaning up the sewing room for my next project. I sure made a mess of it. I ended up with all 20 blocks being 9 1/2 " square. Although the spare block judith asked for extra is a 12 1/2" I had a couple blocks that wanted to string at the edges, so I left them larger. Just warning you gals early. It is quilt shop fabric so good stuff.
