I had gone out today and it was 6 degrees at 11:30. When I came back at 1:30 it was 10. I can't believe it's been so cold. I thought I'd get my swaps out today but that didn't happen so I'll mail them tomorrow. Susan I hope you are feeling better and Klaws those are great. This is what I made today and in the pic the top bead looks crooked.

Ok, I hate to be a nagging old witch, but I gotta do this. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me AND the person you receive from that your package has arrived. And hang on to those tracking numbers until you have been told your package was received. I am still trying to close out January! Decembr, I never did, someone flaked and wouldn't respond to my PMs. It makes it really hard to keep track of everything when no one tells me what they have done.

So, keep this in mind, please, and be nice and follow my pleas, please, next month. Thanks.

I have to share this with the group, it is totally bizarre. One of the gals told me she hadn't received her pincushion from the January swap. I got the tracking #, plugged it into the USPS site, and found it had left the senders city in the midwest on 1/17, headed for California, north of Bakersfield. It has been shuffled up and down the length of California to many different cities, none of them near the city it needs to go to, and is now in the Los Angeles area. I guess this poor pincushion is at the mercy of the post office. Let's all cross our fingers it gets to it's destination soon.

That is frustrating. I have a similar thing happening with a quilt block swap I am in. My partner sent the block to me, a few weeks ago, and still waiting. Yes in the U.S. too. So she wonders what happened. Some mail has been strange lately. Hope she gets her January goodie soon.
