I almost missed the photos of Lynnie's package to Dwina. What a beautiful swap! I'm just amazed! And I'm almost speechless! Not quite, though. That p/c & the pins are to-die for! And the needle case! Everything is beyond wonderful! Great package!

Quilter’s Stiletto<O
<OAn indispensible tool for quilters.
<O
A stiletto is used to:
Guide fabric through the sewing machine, especially towards the end of a seam or around curves.<O
<OHold turned edges while ironing (no more scorched fingers!).<O
<OHelp turn under edges while appliquéing. <O
<OPull up the bobbin thread to the top of the fabric.
Aid in taking out stitches too small for a seam ripper.

Wow! Dwina that is a beautiful pincushion, and the roll case to hold things. Pretty pins, and I love that bag you got. Your name sure looks pretty on everything. Nice pen, and I love those wash cloths. Everything lynnie sent is really nice. Beautiful package you received.
So many of you folks got nice packages today. Love all the pictures.

rosemary, beautiful ornament too, you got so much I had to g back and take a second look.
Dwina, so glad you like what I sent you. I tried to personalize things for you because a few months back, you said you couldn't find things with your name on it. I figured the small bag you could put your sewing tools in for the machine. have fun.

Karen got a great swap from Rosemary with her favorite flower pincushion, and a matching needlecase. CT also got a great swap from dluvs2quilt with a heart pincushion and matching needlecase and Dwina got a great swap from Lynnie with a wonderful pincushion and a needlecase roll and pins with her name on them. So many different fabrics and styles of pc/nc's. Also great bunch of extras. Rosemary I'm glad you liked what I made.
Everyone have a great day

Everyone so far has received the most prettiest, spectacular gifts. I'm always amazed at the pretties coming in and the variety of fabrics from all over the country. I made a few things for Dwina with her name on it, coz she said it was hard to find her name, or impossible, I wanted her to feel special. Hope I did.

Mine should be about ready for the mail tomorrow or Wednesday
at the latest.
I wasn't planning on going anywhere today, just stay home and
sew. But than hubs came to me and asked if I had been to the store
to buy toilet paper and left it in the car.
Ummm no I haven't so get dressed and out the door I head to Costco
to buy some TP and than I headed to WalMart and found some onsies
to buy for Zack.
The temperature on my south facing balcony is sitting at about 88 degrees.
However the north facing side of the building in the court yard is 73 degrees.
Needless to say it is a beautiful day here in CO and we have been having a
few record breaking weather (warmer than what we should have) days here.
I think they said we are supposed to get a small trace (VERY VERY SMALL)
of snow this coming week, and it may not even make it down the mountains.
I hope it stays up there, don't like dealing with the idiots on the road trying
to get to work and home.
Here is a sneak peak at the fabric I used, but just HOW I used it will remain
a secret until my partner gets it.

The other day I went to my favorite LQS where they buy fabric (mostly OOP stuff),
and they resell it at $5 per yard. Look at this adorable!!! fabric I picked up. I think
that it will be a cute nursing cover, and maybe a bib or something not sure what all
to make with it, but I don't have much so am limited to what I can make.
