I received the best SP gift from Lori P. I have to say it arrived in the middle of a tough day. As I opened the package, I was so touched. The package is so thoughtful. I received dark chocolate (yum), Werthers, and Andes mints. I recieved great material in my favorite colors. There are great embrodiared hearts and I am going to incorporated one into a purse. The oatmeal cookie bars in a jar are in the oven now filling my home with a lovely aroma. This was a fantastic package.

Ladies I just received a surprise phone call from Jill. When I sent my package to her, I included my phone number and told her if she ever needed to talk, just to call me. So far she has received 10 packages and just cannot imagine the outpouring of love she has received from the board. I told her she hadn't seen anything yet. She cried and was so humble and wanted me to thank everyone who had sent something. She is going to try to send out individual thank you notes even though I told her she could thank everyone on the board. You folks are just fabulous and have touched a hurting heart. Also, for those of you who haven't sent a package and are intending to, her apartment number is #110. I thank you.

Received my wonderful package yesterday from Tricia - starfire -. She made me a cute pin cushion that you can put your thimble and scissors in, note cards, some lovely blue and purple fabrics (my favorite colors), emery board, a magazine that shows a great Easter table runner that I think I have to make, JoAnn patterns, a bag of buttons and last my very favorite peanut M&M's!!!! Thanks so much you made my day.

TooMany - it's tooooo cold for ice cream! If it's cold here in New York, it must be REALLY cold in Maine! Save it for the summertime bench and let's break out the nice hot lava cakes! Yum yum yum!

Here's something to lighten your day ... and now you all know how fresh I really am!
As you may know, my son is getting married on April 20th.
I was talking to my oldest sister, Lillian, a couple of weeks ago and mentioned two distinctly separate events:
a. Rod, my husband, was out with Blaze, my son, and his groom’s men ordering rental tuxedos
b. I was depressed
Big sister Lillian later spoke with the family matriarch, my aunt, Camille, who is very old and serverely ill.
The "telephone game" went into full swing.
It turned into me being depressed because Rod and Blaze are out renting tuxedos.
Aunt Camille calls my other sister, Joan, who is a complete control freak. She tells her that I am depressed because the boys are out renting tuxedos so she wants to buy me a dress.
Joan calls me to tell me she is taking me shopping and the dress is on Camille.
I would rather have all my teeth pulled without Novocain than go shopping with Joan.
Really.
So … I told her I was making my own dress.
Then I told her I was going to wear a sari.
She responded by sending me a link to David’s Bridal mother’s dresses.
So … I sent her this and told her I bought it. Complete with a crown.
I didn’t but I’m not telling her that!
I actually bought this one in light blue.
Now I have something nice to wear to the crematorium at a later date.
Told you I was fresh!

Here is the tutorial for the great portable first aid kit. Only takes 15 minutes to make and you can find everything to fill it at the local dollar store.
