In my secret pals state, it is against the law to catch a fish with bare hands.

The thread is so quiet this month! My SP is much closer than usual this time...
Our tastes in quilting seem to be very different so I am enjoying shopping for something different.

I had a great weekend sewing. I finished my chickens and started tropical fish. Now to get them pieced and quilted.

They look great! I recognisethe hen patterns but where are the fish from? How did you attach them all? To work at that speed I would have guessed raw edge appliqu but I can’t see any stitches on any of them?

They are both Fat Cat Patterns, Hen Party and Wonderfully Fishy. They are all fused, I am going to blanket stitch by hand.

Love those fish, hav4boys! I've been shopping for my SP. Still want to get a couple more things, but I'm going on a quilt retreat Thursday-Sunday this week, so it may have to wait until next week. I'm glad I still have plenty of time to get it in the mail!

If you might like to do a 5 inch charm swap of iSpy fabric. RWeise is doing a swap and we are looking for a few more participants. Just thought I would share.

Received lovely box Friday. Wowser!!!!! So many patterns. I had just bought more thread, but I can always use thread. Thanks so much. This is so fun. I will mail mine out this afternoon. Fabric is great. I loved it all.

Mailed my SS package off yesterday. Hints:
    (1) it's really cold where she lives
    (2) her name is as unusual as mine
Hope she enjoys the Valentine package

Mailed my SP box off. At first I had it in a plain cardboard box and that would have been $35.00, as it was real heavy. But she suggested that I move it to a Priority Mail large box for 19.95. So I did. I hope she likes it. Should be there Monday.

Battle Axe you are such a tease. Most of us have a doggie. LOL I know that shipping is a big step up again in cost. Can't wait to see what everyone send out this month.

I have been enjoying getting things together for my SP. It will be going out later than sooner because I am still putting together the final touches.
