I think going to do spiders and trick or treat candy. May work on them this weekend. Most likely 9 1/2 inch blocks.

That ok?

Do I understand that if I make 12 1/2" square blocks I might get 3 1/2" blocks in return?

patti,
When I divy up the blocks I will make sure to try and make the blocks be as close to the same as I can. It will depend on what is sent. There are three others that are making twelves so far that I know of that is... But, that is half of the fun of swapping! There will be an element of surprise.

i haven't started my blocks yet but with the rough outline i've done the witch block can be a 12.5 block and the vampire fangs will be a 9.5 block.

I think different sized blocks is what makes these quilts darling when they are finished. I love it that everyone has fun with thier blocks and makes them to suit the subject. It is so american... LOL!

Just have fun girls and enjoy the process.

Interesting, and how about an alternate swap for autumn themes, or Thanksgiving?
