I'll be up in Slippery Rock, for the SCA event Pennsic Wars. My mother is a clothing vendor, and her usual help isn't able to go this year. She's bought plane tickets for my son & I, it will be strange being away from my hubby for two weeks. (Since we moved in together, the longest we've been apart was 5 days when my grandmother passed away)

My problem will be dealing with the humidity, it's been 5 years since I left New England.

If you'd rather share some with the farm swappers, thats great too. Its really up to you Sandra.

Also...if you DO send 60...you might rather me send them back in a medium flat rate box or regular priority mail. That many won't fit into the small flat rate envelope...so either 2 envies or we'll figure out another way..
I will see if i can make the dead line for the farm swap too. Not sure if I can machine not doing so grand. Not sure whats wrong with it. If not I'll send in maybe 7-8 sets for the dog swap. I did 6 1/2 and 12 1/2 inch blocks. I'll try to post some pictures.

Since so many of you are sending in 6 sets, is there a reason? Do you think that many would make a certain size quilt or just getting that many blocks done? I was only going to send 2 sets, but can't decide now!

I started putting my blocks together last night and I don't like some of my fabric choices, so may have to do some more cutting of different fabrics. And my block is going to be on point, will that cause problems for anyone? If so I can use some "Southern Ingenuity" and make them so they will work on the square.
Give me an idea what I should do, so I can get going on them ASAP.

Thanks Debs & Hemi

Blurry but just an idea of different look!

And another message!!!!
Do any of you have Dalmations or Boston Terriers and can use a practice 8 inch square of embroidered dogs? I bought these 2 at a quilt show last week and would be glad to send them with my blocks to be sent out with their swap squares.

If not I give them to our hostess to do what she would like!

Now to figure out how to add photo!

Both have some bad stiching on the right side, I've trimmed the most single wrong color threads

Beautiful I love your fabric choices and I also like the 8 inch square of embroidered dogs. Im sure a lot of us can use them. I would put them right in my dog quilt. I would love to have them, so it's truely up to you what you do with.
