Barley it looks like its a hit. I hope you make more. I guess if there's only one I will have to pull a name out of a hat to see who gets it.

This swap didn't sound that interesting to me when I first saw it, but after seeing the photos of the cutest houses ever, I really want to do the swap. I will try to find something and get in touch when I finish so I can be in on the fun...love them all!

Now lets see, I want the treehouse, a people house, one of those funky houses, the church, a wonky house, etc..
My list just keeps getting bigger. What's a person to do?

Well, I was so excited to join this swap; it seemed like a really fun activity and chance to expand my artsy side. But I think I've talked myself out of it because I know my blocks cannot match the fancy blocks that have been shown here and won't be able to receive one of those with all the requests for them. I guess I'll keep my funky and wonky blocks for my own UFO.
Make it a scrappy happy day!

    Mary Mo,
Please come & play with us. My blocks won't be as adorable either, I'm just hoping I get some of the fun creative blocks hoping that some of their magic will one day rub off on me.

Oh Mary Mo, I felt that too. (in my first swap) Come play and have fun. You will get some great blocks and we would love to get your blocks too. It's so much fun getting your blocks back. My first swap was the valentine swap this year. Have fun with us, won't you?? I never think my blocks are good enough. I just had so much fun making them!!

Mary Mo you need to share the LOVE!! not how good you think they are............. We may feel differently about your blocks then you do.................................... We all need to start somewhere in order to begin..........don't be a party pooper!!!! send your lovely blocks. Sometimes simple is better and is needed to help the wonky ones out.

Mary Mo please don't drop out of the swap..... We will love your blocks too..... Don't worry...... Each block is built with love and that love is passed on to whoever receives your blocks..... To me, the biggest part of the fun is figuring out just how to use the blocks in a project. The quilters are simply "encouraging" us by their postings. So, send your blocks, I would love to receive one of your blocks......

MaryMo, I don't just think it, but KNOW for a fact my blocks will not be as nice as the ones that have been posted so far but I'm still going to play There will always be someone who does something better or worse than any of us, it's the participation that is fun and think of the wonderful neighborhood quilt you are going to get out of it! I want one of your blocks so send them in! .

Thank you all for your words of encouragement. I can (and will) do this, just at my own level. I've made a couple of funky blocks, but they've turned out kind of wonky too ... just now what I planned. So now that that's settled, I'm off and working on new blocks.
Make it a scrappy happy day!
