LOVE THOSE HOUSES!!!!! KwiltKrazy, there's a list of rules somewhere. I prewash, I don't know about others. Size of blocks has to be in increments of three inches plus seam allowance so 3 1/2, 6 1/2, 9 1/2, 12 1/2, 15 1/2 etc. They do NOT need to be square, they can be rectangular too. Uhhh let's see, the houses must be pieced but other stuff can be appliqued. Oh and of course they need to be funky. LOL

Woohoo!!! I went pattern diving last night (cleaning up the sewing dump) and I found the cute funky tree pattern that I was looking for. Not only THAT....but it has a cute little funky house sitting beside the tree!!! Hows that for luck! If I didn't have to take DH to the Dr. today, I'd make one.... Yippee though.....!!!!!!

This is my first swap and I have laughed at the comments and have been awed by the blocks already shown. But the best part has been the encouragement from one to another. This has been the absolute best part.

This is going to be my weekend to sew and I hope to have something to show by next week.

I agree and would definitely use the block as a rectangle, but I wanted to give another option because, depending on the other blocks received, a 12 inch square might be more appropriate.
