I'm going to watch this thread - I know what my limits are and adding one more project at this time doesn't work for me so I'll sit back and watch all your creativity as it unfolds. Besides that my daughter has been hounding me for months to make her a mug rug for her desk at work and if she found out I signed up to make one for someone else before her I would never hear the end of it.

Looking forward to swapping a mug rug. I made my choices easy with no special color or theme. I like just about everything. I quilt Civil War Reproduction most of the time but love all the wonderful bright fabrics available. I too like several I've seen posting love Hello Kitty. I don't have any kitties but have two boston terriers that keep me on my toes. I love surprises!

Here is one that I made for a friend last year. But this is my first swap to actually send one out to someone else. I made another one that is really nice, but just bought a new pc and I cannot find the pic of it.

Just saw hello kitty Christmas fabs at JA's.
Looking forward to getting my partner.
This is going to be FUN!

Had my mamo today, and gave away pink hand crocheted washcloths to all the ladies there.
I'm thinking of making them mugrugs for next year. I start early.

mamaskeeto, I hope I don't get you, no offense, but i don't have any Civil War fabric or for
that matter, know what it looks like. Or where to buy it either. What a problem. Do I need
to go shopping for it????

I am pretty easy to please also, love bright bold colors especially the colors of fall. Batiks are gorgeous, pastels won't fit well with the colors of our house and don't care for homespuns. Love gardening and florals and will enjoy anything made for me
