Holiday Mug Rug Swap!!!
#1456
I so appreciate an Angel sending me a MR. I told Brat that I was a big girl and could handle not receiving. I did not want someone spending more postage, since they had already paid postage to send their own. It's not fair for others to have do more work and spend more money for postage, because someone didn't keep their commitment. I was happy to do mine and as long as I made someone else happy that is all I needed. Thanks to my Angel for being so considerate.

Cute mug rugs, Dfelker!
Rosemary, Great news about your hubby, and will continue to pray for you both.
I heard from one of my "angel" recipients that she received her pkg today. I'm happy to know it made it. There are 2 more pkgs on their way to new homes, and Jacie's pkg will go out again in the morning...this time heading north of me.
I guess they will be "Happy New Years" pkgs. Even with Priority Mail, I'm sure it will be Friday at the earliest before they're received.
TOOMANYUFO's,
I understand where you're coming from, as I was shocked and totally surprised (pleasantly) when I received an "angel" pkg myself.
But as you said, you got enjoyment from making and sending to someone, and honestly it's as much fun, if not more, to be able to help each other out with "angel" pkgs when we can. I know everyone on here has been an angel at one time or another. And as our hostess has said, "Isn't that what Christmas is all about?"
Regards all,
Kif
