So far I don't qualify for the zip code numbers or having 7 letters in my name either 1st, last or combined. And although I live in Washington county, Wisconsin doesn't have an "a" in it so my mug rug is not coming from England. My swap clue for the day is, my mug rug will be sent somewhere north of the Mason Dixon Line.

My SP lives in the South. I'm not saying a southern state...it could be South Philly, South Bronx, South Seattle, South Chicago, etc. You never know!

Finished a mug rug tonight! Now I will fret about it not being up to snuff ! I like it, but will my swappee? Probably should have waited to make it so I don't have time to "fret". Anyway , on to another one just in case. Binding is my issue always.

I hear ya, Rennie, binding isn't one of my strengths either. Rest assured that your mug rug will be loved and you needn't fret about it. This is meant for fun and we are all of differing skill levels. I have never known a nicer and more encouraging bunch of folk than those on this board.

The county I lived in for 50+ years was bigger than Rhode Island! Ready to mail--and just in time. Here's a sneak peek:

Finished just in time. Phone call from niece. Going to Disneyland with her in-laws. Daughter (my grandniece) has a cousin who will have a store bought ice queen dress, and...as it all played out, I am making an Elsa dress for grandniece, since she outgrew her last princess dress. It was either Elsa or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Just noticed that the mug rug kind of looks like something from Frozen.

Rennie, not to worry, Patchesnposies was right, it will be loved by your partner. I was in a couple mug rug swaps a few years ago and I still adore the one's I received. And I use them all of the time, you can never have enough mug rugs!

I'm in the process of going into new territory for me...hexies. If I create a mug rug of hexies, how do I bind it?
