Thanks to all for posting these and JudyG, are the measurements in your diagram finished size? I'd still have to add the 1/2" for seams, right? I wish I'd seen yours before I made mine. Yours is basically a snowball block with a rectangle for a 'basket'. It is really cute and your fabrics could all be different! This is a great idea and wish I'd though of it. I made mine in a circular -like pattern, hand embroidered the 'ropes' and found some woven like print for the basket. I can't wait till we all 'reveal' our swap!!

JudyG, Thank you again for sharing your pattern. I was so convinced that I couldn't do it. I finally decided to do my best, and last night I made my first HAB block! I'm so excited now. I have spent many hours trying to figure something out and your instructions were so easy to follow. What a relief!
I also want to thank the other member who mailed me a pattern. I have spent so much time worrying, that I couldn't focus long enough to really try.
