I like the idea of occasional themed swaps, but overall I enjoy the variety and freedom that comes from broader swaps. I also can't get to the quilt shop that often and like to support my local shops rather than order online, so I wouldn't always be able to go get something for a specific theme. With the more generic swap, I can stock up and know I'll use them in the next few swaps.

Maybe change the twist so it isn't 15 different fabrics per twist? I would like to do it but don't have access to that many fabrics without ordering 1/2 yard of the 15 different fabrics - which would be too expensive to do for me.

Perfect idea! Could the twist, though, be the same as the regular in that you would swap them? That way, rbweise (and everyone else) could buy one fabric, just like the twist, cut it into 20 pieces, and get 20 different ones back.

I can't change Junes Twist for I already have some in. If I was to do the twist of christmas fabric the same can you all help me with your twist? Like 6 sets is the limit so that would be 120 charms. Now if each person took those 6 charms sets and separated them and made twenty piles of 6 charms in each we can do the 20 charms the same in each Baggie. For this would make it easier on me and a lot faster .

1) set out your six sets
2) take one from each pile and place them on top of each other in a uniform square
3) turn the pile to make it a diamond
4) begin again, setting your six as a square on top the previous diamond
5) repeat
This way, all you have to do it pick up six at a time to swap them and we don't use crazy amounts of baggies. But if baggies are truly easier, I'm good with that, too.
