Everybody's fabric selections are wonderful. I haven't seen anything I wouldn't be happy to get in a swap.

I was just getting on to ask the same question. Some of my sets are 2 fabrics in a set. The fabrics are not repeated in other sets or the twist. Is this OK? I was getting ready to send them and then thought that I had perhaps understood the directions incorrectly.

A few notes on the fabrics:
The astronauts glow in the dark.
I don't usually pre-wash the fabric I buy for swaps, since most swaps I've done have that in the guidelines. I've had the monkeys long enough that I honestly don't remember if they've been washed or not, but the rest have not. It's also possible that one or two of my twist fabrics have been washed, but again, most have not.

I have one more set cut and am waiting for some other fabric, to arrive in mail. Am hoping to have six sets, before sending.

Never mind... here's a pic! I forgot I had saved one of each for my own collection. My bags of 20 were mostly mixed, so here's a sampling of what I sent:

Well it's Walmart fabric so you probably won't want to use it in your quilt.

I love the heart fabric. Have been collecting a colors of heart fabric. One day I will do a heart quilt just for me.

Why would she not want it in her quilt if you sent it in to use In the I Spy Swap? I would put it in my quilt!
    Sorry didn't understand the comment.

I was referring to her swap on her blog... one of her rules was no fabric from Walmart or JoAnn's, so I wanted to make sure she knew it was WalMart fabric. In fact, I buy most of my quilting fabrics from JoAnn's these days. I find some great stuff there, including Denise Schmidt prints.

Oh okay. I was just confused. I agree I shop at Joann's myself because I have no quilting shops near me.i have to travel over an hour to get to one. So either I shop on line or travel 40 minutes to Joann's. I still need to get a few more fabrics for the twist .

I'm hoping my new fabrics will arrive in today's mail. So far, I have three sets but will officially PM an update, after the new ones are cut.

I was just in JoAnn's today and saw so many great things for an I Spy quilt. The novelty prints section is full of goodies, as is the children's.

I was shopping to enhance three different collections of fabrics for three different quilts! That will really make your head spin....

I try to stay away from JoAnns only because so many others get their fabric from JoAnns.............but that doesn't mean I don't slip one in here or there............

I buy on line when the sale price is right......................and no shipping charges.............ebay is another good source....

I also love going to garage sales and have found lots of good I spy fabric......this year has been a good year........I have enough fabric to do I spies for the next year....................and none of the fabric is cheesy.................

Bought my stamps today so hopefully I will get mine mailed out this weekend.................

So I guess you want to know what I'm sending..................LOL.........5 inch squares...........hehehehe
