I have not joined any of the other block swaps. I would possibly consider this one depending on the colors. But I would prefer not to do the Dear Jane. Just My Opinion.

I like the idea of the yellow & blue combination.
Every time I see a quilt with those colors, I just
love them!! :D

I like this part of Klue's suggestion:

"some people might think its better to do in the fall when people spend more time at home and would prefer a breezy swap for the summer months. "

Thanks!

I agree. That would also give more organization time before the swap would begin.

Why don't we do a blue and yellow swap for summer? You know sunny blue skies and all (sorry to those who are now in winter, but hey it might perk up those dull winter months!).

Then plan a Dear Jane swap next for over the fall/winter months.

I'll also keep the list of ideas for future swaps. So chocolate we may come back to you.

What do you think?

This will also be a "play if you want to, don't participate if it does not appeal to you"?

Brown and pink is also pretty - chocolate and strawberry ice cream. or if you prefer, chocolate and cherry.

Or brown, pink and green - neopolitan (?) ice cream

A summer colors theme would be wonderful... water colors like aqua, blues and soft blue greens... sand colors.. sun and sky... sky blue and medium sunny yellows. Island colors? hmmm
