I have AKAngel's top. My greens in my stash don't match. DH said I should go shopping to find something....well.....If he insists!

This one isn't telling me what it wants, so if anyone has an idea for the next round.....I am open to suggestions.

It's very pretty so far... perhaps you could find a floral print with the orange/red in it and maybe a little lavender and touch of green???? Or maybe a gingham.

You best get shopping before DH realizes what he said !!
Have fun. I'll be envying you caressing all that fabric.

I just wanted to comint on the dogs in your profile picture. I do love the quilt too.. Are they poddles? They look a little like Bo,,the presidents dog. I alwasy wnated a portuges water dog, but they do resemble a big poddle..

I am not in the round robin but I love looking at the pictures of what you girls have done. I just got out of a post card exchange,I got behind on that,so right now I would't wnat to get in on this but maybe later when summer is over.I may need to move my sewing upstairs,I am just getting so bad about going down to the basement to sew.

i would vote for something fluid - it is very geometric right now and could use some soft curves!

Its looking really nice, how about some applique to soften it with a few curves on each corner. Just a suggestion.

You could do a rust/green checkerboard and then repeat a smaller version of the center star on each corner. This way it would bring the darker tones back into the quilt, instead of getting lighter & lighter.

I can post a picture of it laying prettily on my bed! lol
It sure is pretty and Elle did a wonderful job, as always.
Trying to outdo her or even follow with something as well as she has done is REALLY hard.
So, since I can't think of anything to add to it, I think it looks nice just the way it is and I'm keeping it! :) :)
