barbsbus....I hope to have it in the mail before the end of Sept, I have all the log cabin blocks done I just need to sew them together and attach to the quilt, hubby is gone this weekend so I plan on getting alot of sewing done.

I need your opinions. This belongs to AKAngel.

You are all so incredibly nice but I really really need your input so please be honest. My family says this is too light. Before I do a lot more work on this I'd love your opinions. It will have 2 more swags on each side then a loop in the corner also. I will also add berries.

My daughter says it is better since I added the holly leaves but she thinks the background is still too light. It is cream with gold. The red isn't as purple as it is showing up in the picture. It really is red with little holly leaves.

Once you get all your swags & berries on, I'm pretty sure it won't look "too" light...

I don't think it will be when you get more on it. It appears that it picks up on some of the lighter fabs in the center parts...right? I think it will be just fine...actually, I love what you are doing!
