Macybaby; love it. Let the imagination go. So creative.

Received Macybaby's. Again the color is off; the last border is more brown.

My quilt is turning out very pretty! I'm glad the last border is more brown. It looks very purple on my monitor, and purple is my least favorite color. I'm probably a bit of an oddball in that if I rank colors for preference, blues and purples are near the end. However I love burgundy and turquoise.

That does not mean I don't like purple, but that I'm simply not attracted to it. I have a sister the same way, I bought out 5 boxes of fabric from her that she had collected in the 70's when she worked at a fabric shop. Only one fabric even had any purple in it, and it was pretty minimal. I've made sure I have a decent selection of purples in my stash, but I had to do that deliberately as when I wonder the quilt shop, purples never seem to jump in my cart on their own.

My main goal for this quilt is that it be dark in nature, and that goal is being met.

Love the new borders being added!

I have been suffering with migraines so haven't been in the sewing room much at all....got an iv treatment the end of last week antd that has put a stop to the cycle thankfully! Catching up this week around the house. Tomorrow and Friday I hope to work on my border for Reba's quilt. I have started cutting strips and fabric picked for corner blocks...still trying to finalize what block I'll use.

I also received Mona's for group1 on Monday...but I have a little more time before I have to start that one.

If Petthefabric's (group2) gets here in time for me to pick fabrics I will take it along next week when I go to a quilting retreat...otherwise it will wait until I get home.

Carrrie, my DH has instructions to get the package mailed off today or tomorrow., He hate sitting on things so I expect he's already got it done. Will send the tracking number when I get it.
