Anna, what a wonderful pkg you got. I love the heart pincushion. I need to make one myself as a gift. Cute little needle book too!

Kathy, I bet you got great goodies from Mary. She always packs a great box of goodies. She makes everyone feel so special. I've been a lucky recipient of her goodie boxes and they are stupendous! Sixlets are my favorite!!

Kathy I will post a picture for you after I show off what I got from Deb. ( patches and posies) She sent so much I needed to take 3 pictures. I really should have taken more. lol. Such beautiful sewing and artwork. Some really nice soft soap and a hand crocheted washcloth from her daughter. (well made) I just love homemade items and I got lots. Instead of naming more I will post pictures.Picture one shows a big heart needlebook it is shown open in picture 2 with a pretty heart pincushion and a tea book. Also very nice coasters in a cute basket. Picture 3 has a really nice heart doily mat and some pretty trim and a nice big piece of fabric. Picture 1 also has pepper jelly, 2 boxes of tea (I love tea) candies coffee and a little wooden washboard and a baggie under it with lots of little trims and sewing extras. Thank You so much Deb. I love it all especially the homemade items and will use them. I'm not one to just save homemade items for some day. If you wait they never seem to get used and they were made to be used and enjoyed. This has been a wonderful swap and I will miss it terribly.Hugs to all of you Mary

Here is what I sent to my partner Kathy. First picture shows heart glass pincushion sent it in the Valentines day box. The red heart is the closed needlebook. It is shown open in the next picture. The red button fabric is a tissue holder for the purse. Kathy just unbutton one of the scissor buttons through the opening and the end is opened to change out the tissue. Second picture shows a teddy bear box that held the coin purse also in the same picture. In front of them are a chest style box of candy and a full size candy bar. Hope you enjoy it all. Mary

Patches and Posies and lawsonmugs you both made awesome swap packages. Thank you for posting the pictures and describing everything. I always enjoy seeing the different swaps. Great needle cases and pincushions and lots of fun goodies especially all the hand made items. I see another one of those hand made wash clothes also. Those coin purses are to die for. Sew cute! All of it. You ladies did a wonderful job representing the Valentine's theme for this swap.

Jan it took me awhile to figure it out and there might be an easier way. I am probably not the best to try and help. There is a section on the board that can help you. One thing that you need to do in order to post on this board is to decrease picture size. I hope you can figure it out as we would love to see your work.

That is exactly right, Anna. I have taken my pictures and even gotten them downloaded to my computer....but have no clue how to resize them! My DH will have to do that for me. He switched me over to chrome and now I don't know how to do anything.....(again!)

I could do it easily on my other browser.

I will be posting pictures of my swap from Pamela as soon as he has "shrunk" them! lol

This is how I resize pictures. If you have Microsoft Office you can do it also. Just right click on your picture and choose "open with" then with Microsoft Office Picture Manager. That will bring up your picture. At the top you will see where it says "Edit Pictures". Click on that and on the right you will see "resize". Click on that. Then I click on "Predefined width x height". Click on the drop down menu. I usually resize my pictures to "Web-Large (640 x 480 px). Click on that then click "OK". At the top left, click on "file" and "save". You're done. I hope this helps.

Lynnie you know I love seeing and posting pictures. I'm still waiting for my daughter-in-law to send or bring my pink hoodie you made to me,so I can take a picture of it. I wore it to my son's house and forgot it there. It's over a hours drive and been so cold I don't want to drive it. But I want my hoodie. She's just really not reliable at all. It's my fault I forgot it,but don't say you will do something and not do it. I'm sorry I haven't posted a picture yet. Hope the storm hitting the east isn't to bad. Stay safe everyone.

Deb -- the package you sent to Mary is awesome, as expected! Love everything! Sweet mug rug, pc & nc! Love the green fabric on the mug rug, too. Your daughter did a great job with the crocheted washcloth -- good for her! Another crafter in your family -- that's the best! Everything is delightful (especially the little washboard)! Oh, & I see coasters, too!

Mary -- your swap to Kathy is another great one! Love that coin purse! Perfect fabric for it, too. Great pc & Nc & tissue holder, & your boxes are darling.

Everybody is making such wonderful valentine items!
