I actually mailed my package today. It's going west of me. I thought I had an inch of snow yesterday but when I went out to shovel it had all blown away. Tomorrow I don't think I'll be that lucky and it was 9 this morning. You are right and winter is here. I did see a lot of robins today. I know they don't migrate for the winter but I was surprised to see them today.

Every time I think I'm done, I think of something else to add. I guess that's my way of saying that I won't get it in the mail tomorrow. Maybe Friday?

Got my pkg to PO yesterday but it wasn't registered till today, I've had a couple days from He__ __ . My beauty shop had a water pipe break, went into 4 of the businesses where she is located. Needless to say, my hair did not get cut... My friends got in town yesterday and they are working on the house/actually the garage.... Do have it up for Sale... They will be here for homemade Pizza later today... Great friends... Did get Block #1 from the Quilt Shop finished today, hopefully I can get back into sewing... Have been at a standstill since John died...Will be a year Good Friday (March 25)...

I had this post started, computer updated and shut down to install. What a way to start the day! Ladybug, hope your friends and pizza cheered you up a bit, good food and good people always help. Is your quilt shop doing a block of the month? sounds like fun.
I've been having trouble with my right hand and experiencing pain in my fingers, so my appointment with the doctor was yesterday. Seems the tendon has gone a little "wacky", they call it a trigger finger. Whatever it is, I sure want it fixed. They are scheduling surgery and he says it will be fine and normal again. The sooner the better I told him, hope they call today!
I came home to a wonderful Valentine from NHNative. Pat you really outdid yourself on these sweet items, such beautiful work you do!! Candy hearts, a notepad, heavenly smelling soap, knitted pink and white heart coasters, crochet nestled hearts, this little heart box filled with heath candy bars and the sweetest mugrug ever! And that's not all...would you look at all the detail on this needlecase and pin cushion, truly amazing and beautiful. Thank you so much Pat, I love everything you sent and certainly am in awe of your embroidery talent.
I sure hate to see this swap end, they are so fun to do. Anyone going to take over for Karen and keep us all sewing??

Yes my Quilt shop is doing the BOM and I got it done yesterday, pressed it and let it sit there, went and ate lunch and did several other things besides making a huge salad, Joe and Sue both love salad. Went back and looked at my block and bet you already have guessed. Turned on square around the wrong way. frogged it and will put back together this AM and then work on putting blocks from last years BOM together, need to put 1.5 inch strip around each first. Feeling better, Pizza was really good, wish I could have you all here for some, I make the best....
