Louise I am so sorry about your dad. I do think I know what you are going through..Mom is in Hospice,too. Very sad and hard to let go.
Can't remember who said she was worried about what her mom would do when she finished her projects..bet she will be fine. My mother did that when my dad died though the home they had was only about a year old and they had it built to their specifications. Out went the carpet, repainted, etc. I thought she was crazy until I lost my husband..guess what I did? Yep, moved to Illinois and totally rehabbed the house and property!!! It is therapy..least it was for me!

Grandma Peg sent me a request regarding subscribing to a thread. Maybe some of you other newbies would like to know too. Here is the information.
Look at the top of the page, left side and click on "HOME"
Scroll down to "Member Swap and Round/Row Robins"
Click on that link. When it opens, look for July 2013 Secret Pal Swap Closes June 30 4pm CST
These are basic instructions for any thread. The easy way is if you are already here, look at the top of the page for 'thread tools" click on it and subscribe.
I think you can also get there by clicking on link in this message .
Once you are there, look for "thread tools"
Click on "Subscribe to this thread".
A screen will come up that says "Notification Type".
Choose how you want to be notified of new listings. I choose weekly by email.
Once you suscribe, you will be able to click on "Quick Links".
Then click on subscribed threads and a list of your threads will come up. Look for July 2013 Secret Pal Swap and click on it and you are there.
