Got mine in the mail today. Haven't had a chance to put them together yet, but they look great! Looks like a nice variety of colors too. Thank you ladies for sending in the blocks and trading

Thank-you for finding my quilt blocks!!! Yea!!! I'm doing the happy dance!!!!! Yea!!!!!!! I received them in the mail today. I'm curious where were they found? I'll just use these blocks and inter mix them with my other swapped blocks (from the previous swap) to make a quilt later this year.
Now back to work on my other swap blocks. Again thank-you. Happy sewing!!!!

Been working on these for the last 3 days, finally decided on the setting and then started sewing. Combined the 2 batik swaps and used every single block to make this quilt and the 2 king size pillow cases. Just need to get it quilted now, but wanted to thank you all so much for the beautiful blocks.

OOPS, guess I looked at too many black squares today, I see on a pillow case I need to turn a block....Why is the board making your photo's post twice??

Oh Jaba I love them! What size will it finish out at? Is this two month's worth of blocks? What are your finishing triangles sized at? Barbara

They look great!!

About turning the block, the same thing happened to me. I did a runner and posted a picture. Didn't see until then that I had turned one of the blocks wrong. Maybe we should take pics of all our projects to check them out!

Changed that purple block, way easier the 1st time sewing than taking it apart...but it is done. QLGrandma, yes I used both swaps. For the quilt, 72 blocks set on point...1st row 6 across, 2 row 5 across..and so on for a total of 13 rows. Right now it measures about 68" X 80" long. Haven't decided yet if I want to make it bigger or not, think I may just let it be. Then I had 16 blocks left, so made the pillow covers and added the black all around to make them wide enough. We have a CalKing bed and king size pillows so they take a little bit of fabric. I had made some extra's but can't really remember how many. The 4 corners for an 8" finished block cut 2- 6 5/8" squares and cut in half, for the sides cut squares 12 5/8" and cut corner to corner BOTH ways as an X. They will fit perfect. Hope this answers your question, if not let me know and I will try to help if I can.
