I am stretching my wings with an applique project. Have only done 1 before during lessons. It's called Papa's Truck & will be a baby gift (wall hanging) If I ever get the pieces cut out right, I'll post a progress pic. So far, my first 5 pieces were backwards! grrr! lol

I love seeing pictures. This is a small group so I think it won't bother any of us. Sue I would love to see your pictures. Linny thank you for your words. It's always nice to hear from others that went through what ever your facing. I have chatted with a lot of wonderful women and men on here. It's a great board.

Marion,you can do it. You always make nice runners. I think we all get nervous at the start of a new swap. I know I do. lol. Then I think wow this is just fun no quilting police here. I like the free style theme of doing something new for us. I just can't think of what to try.

Remember that post from lawsonmugs, wondering what we were working on? I mentioned my applique project & I think I'm actually making progress! I started out by cutting out every template backwards & had to redo them all! Maybe applique should be my goal for the next runner, so I can practice getting this right! lol This project is a applique/quilted wall hanging, called Papa's Truck, for the brand new little farmer next door. Any helpful comments or advice would be appreciated!
